So far this summer we have had SIX students receive their private pilot certificate. Congratulations to Morty Harwood, Brad Luce, Jim Ryan, Leigha Woelffer, Makayla Schramm, and Claire Collins!!

FCF has withheld a 100% pass rate for students on written exams. Congrats to the following: Claire Collins, Seth Brewer, Anania Tekurio, Jim Ryan, Walker Derby, Brent Graves, David Crowe, Brianna Anderson, Eric Schweigert, Rob Southard, Eric Bentlage, Kip Hartman & Brice Sturmer.

Fall session of ground school just wrapped up, spring ground school dates will be announced.

February’s student of the month is Jim Ryan! Jim started flying with us back in April of 2024. He came in with 0 time and quickly accomplished many great things. He soloed a few different aircraft early on in his training, and earned his private pilots license in less than 4 months. Jim then went on to set a goal to fly 5 hours every week, and just passed the 150 hour mark. He is now working with us on his instrument rating, and just completed his long IFR 250 last week. When he’s not flying, Jim enjoys his many motorcycles, backcountry skiing, and working in his shop. Keep up the great work Jim, you are killing it. 

Girls in Aviation day was a HUGE success. Thank you to all that volunteered and sponsored the event. I hope to do this again soon!!!
